I don't think you will have any problem with any of those wheels rubbing with 33's. The more backspacing, the more the wheel is gonna tuck in. Since you want the "deep dished" look you will probably want to go with the wheel with 5.7 or 4.5 inches of bs. Just be aware that a 9 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of bs is gonna stick out about 2.5 inches farther than your oem wheels. Personally, I'd go with 5.7 inches of bs.
As far as "staggered", I think he means the 04-08 F-150's have a wider front track width than the rear. I've never really noticed this on stock trucks, but a lot of full lift kits increase the front track width. A leveling kit isn't gonna make your front track width wider.

Wandell,

Ok just for kicks, what if I went with the monsters in 18's with the Toyo MT's. I know the toyos have more of a lug on the side of tire, which may be a issue when turning.
Would the monsters still work and if so, can I get by with the same 5.7 b.s?

Thanks for all the help

Yes, an 18x9 with 5.7 inches of bs would work. Personally, I think 33's look better on 18's.

Do you have any idea how much worse the MPG and road noise is gonna be with the Toyos MT vs the Nitto TG's.
Basically they are the same size tire but more of a aggressive tread on the MT's
My trucks a pavement queen.

They are gonna be louder, but the Toyo MT is supposedly the quietest MT available. I don't thing your MPG's are gonna be much different with an MT vs. an AT.

Depends on the width. A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.4 inches of bs is gonna stick out about 2.5 inches farther than your OEM wheels.

When you say this are you talking that the wheel or the tire itself is gonna stick out 1.5 inches farther than the oems. Just want to make sure we are on the same page.

If its the wheel, then what can I expect the the tires to stick out farther than stock?

I'm speaking of the wheel itself. The tire will add some width, depending on the width of the oem vs. the aftermarket tires. To see how much width the tires will add, just take the difference between the width of the new tires and the oem tires and divide it by 2.

I have the MM 951 20x9 with 5.71 BS and 35x12.50-20 Toyo MT. The noise from the Toyo's is not bad at all. I have to agree with wandell on that. Here is some pics of how far the tires stick out and the dish on the wheels.

Im trying to achieve this look, no more no less... with a 9 inch wheel -305-55-20 tire

https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...cture645-2.jpg

Tire guy says he thinks +35 (6.38 bs). That I will have way to much overhanging with the +18 (5.71 bs) and that im probably going to hit using that backspace. Personally I dont know what to think but I want to get it right.
Been here a couple of times to see I can figure it out http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp
but im getting no where.

Hill2107 how do you insert pictures in your post???

Hill2107 has posted some great pics of a 9 inch wide wheel with 5.7 inches of bs and a 12.50 inch (305mm) wide tire so you now know exactly what kind of stance that combo is gonna give you. If you think his tires/wheels stick out too far you need to go with the 9 inch wide wheel with 6.1 inches of bs. If you think his tires/wheels don't stick out far enough, go with the 4.5 inches of bs.

Certainty is wide enough, so I dont need to go with the 4.5.bs.
I think part of my problem seeing this is that his tires are 12.5 (305) inches wide.
If I use a tire calculator then the tire calculator is telling me that my 305's are 12inches wide.

Also you had said that "take the diff between stock and my 305s and divide by 2 so (10.8-12.0) = .60 and that the +35 would stick out 3/4 of an inch farther. So I would be at 1-1/4 out from the side wall of my current tire???
Using the tire/wheel calculator they say it will only stick out .5 farther from the fender????

Calculator im using .. http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp

Im getting confused somewhere???
