snapped some quick pictures for you. to me they can be a little misconceiving (sp?), cause when you look at the whole truck they kinda blend in with it, but when you look at just the tires they look pretty aggressive.

oh and sorry for the dirty truck guys. washed it yesterday while it was raining, but you'd never be able to tell since it never actually stopped raining.

thanks , yeah its a body lift. the wheels are 16x10 MT Classic II's with 4.45" of backspacing i think, so they stick out just a little more than 4.5". But, the true width of the 315/75r16 STT is only around 11.9" or 12", and i think the 33x12.50 STT is more true to its width so the stance should be pretty similar.

i'd say it took me 2 8-10 hour days, 90% of the time working alone and taking my time. If you had some help you could easily finish in one day i think, especially if you have all the tools you need on hand right there infront of you, which i made the mistake of not doing. I havn't raised my exhaust yet but all you need to do is take to a shop and ask them to raise it, i'm pretty sure all they do is cut the hangers the right amount and re-weld it. i think f150 rider did it, so he might be able to give you more info on that.

thanks though, i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I think your truck would look pretty good lifted. And like you said, if your even considering a body lift I would wait too. Then it gives you more time to decide, and save up.

yeah i will see. you doin gap guards eventually? i would want to do it myself with a buddy or 2 because i hear labor for a bl is alot! i think our trucks with a bl and 35s on aftermarket wheels gives it a mean stance

yeah but i doubt i'll buy them, they're pretty overpriced compared to the cost of materials. I found an old rubber truck bed mat i'll probably use for the front, and i saw this aluminum flashing with rolled edges at home depot i think i'll use for the back, i'll just have to paint it. The labor really isn't that bad, just make sure you spray all your bolts, especially bed bolts with PB Blast or something like it every day for atleast a week before you do it. I agree with you though, the look and stance it gives you for the price is unbeatable.

so would either a 33x12.5 or a 305/65/17 rub? the 305 is only 12" wide opposed to 12.5

I think that size would be good for your stance now. But If you go with a BL then def. 315s. Im actually going with a 305/65/17 KM2. I have one so far lol (deal on ebay) They are just so damn mean (and expensive)
