Cooper STT?

i just got these on today..and they are pretty dang quiet and really smooth for a M/T. They do have a little hum, but it's nothing major. I havn't drove them past 60-65 mph but so far i have no vibrations, and the guy at action gator said he was really surprised how little weight they took to balance. I'll give you another update after the next rotation, but so far so good. Even drove them home in some pretty hard rain and they seemed to handle it dang good.

snapped some quick pictures for you. to me they can be a little misconceiving (sp?), cause when you look at the whole truck they kinda blend in with it, but when you look at just the tires they look pretty aggressive.
oh and sorry for the dirty truck guys. washed it yesterday while it was raining, but you'd never be able to tell since it never actually stopped raining.

is that a body lift? nice looking truck.
my buddy has them in 35s on his 05. i love the looks of these tires!
cotebodg: what width wheel you running, and the bs on those wheels are 4.5 right? i got 17x8 with 4.5" BS hope they stick out kind of like yours do when i do end up buying new tires

thanks , yeah its a body lift. the wheels are 16x10 MT Classic II's with 4.45" of backspacing i think, so they stick out just a little more than 4.5". But, the true width of the 315/75r16 STT is only around 11.9" or 12", and i think the 33x12.50 STT is more true to its width so the stance should be pretty similar.

yeah maybe spring time ill do a body lift? how long did it take you? i dont want to buy 33s now then do a body lift in spring and want 35s then haha. but yeah i like the look of your truck man! also what do you do to get exhaust raised so its not sitting low after the lift

i'd say it took me 2 8-10 hour days, 90% of the time working alone and taking my time. If you had some help you could easily finish in one day i think, especially if you have all the tools you need on hand right there infront of you, which i made the mistake of not doing. I havn't raised my exhaust yet but all you need to do is take to a shop and ask them to raise it, i'm pretty sure all they do is cut the hangers the right amount and re-weld it. i think f150 rider did it, so he might be able to give you more info on that.
thanks though, i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I think your truck would look pretty good lifted. And like you said, if your even considering a body lift I would wait too. Then it gives you more time to decide, and save up.

yeah but i doubt i'll buy them, they're pretty overpriced compared to the cost of materials. I found an old rubber truck bed mat i'll probably use for the front, and i saw this aluminum flashing with rolled edges at home depot i think i'll use for the back, i'll just have to paint it. The labor really isn't that bad, just make sure you spray all your bolts, especially bed bolts with PB Blast or something like it every day for atleast a week before you do it. I agree with you though, the look and stance it gives you for the price is unbeatable.
