I wouldn't say that. There are a # of 7-lug trucks here (me included). I have also been hearing things about the 09 and ups haveing a 7-lug setup. I have heard that the diesel in 2010 will be 7-lug, in all wheelbases! This will hopefully make the aftermarket know we are here!

heres a question I have, I was looking into lifting my truck insted of my 2AS so I went to my local 4x4 shop and talked to them. This was fun for me because they did not know that there was a 7-lug in the NBS. So they called BDS and they couldn't say if it would work or not. They told me that BDS was going to talk with some people at Ford and they would call me. Now it has been three months and no calls from BDS. I have the feeling that it will not work but if any one could shed some light on this it would be good!

i just bought a 2001 supercab/shortbed 7700. i had no clue what it was either, i'll admit. i just wanted a 4x4 towing machine and this one came with brake controller, trans temp gauge and towing package. i'm stoked! i already have a dezert racing truck so this one's going to stay stock. all i want is to lift the front to level it out, get some tires, and do anything to improve fuel econ. names Steve, nice to meet you!

dont alot of diesels use 7 lugs?
i dont understand why a lift kit would work on a 6 lug and not a 7 lug. is there a bigger difference between lugs and suspension (shocks)? you could always go to ford and get part diagrams for your front end and a 6 lug front end and see if all the parts are the same. besides the 7 lug and 6 lug ofcourse.
