Tire Question

I have stock 255/70/17 on my 2004 fx4 screw but I am looking at going bigger but keeping factory rims for now. So what could I put on without a leveling kit and if I do level it with a 2.5 leveling kit what size can I run on my factory 17's. THanks

With a 2.5" leveling kit you can do 35's on factory wheels, and aftermarket wheels if the backspacing and width are close to if not exactly the same as the factory wheels. I'd go 2.5" AS with an AAL and 35's, but I'm partial to that set-up.... no leveling kit I think you can go up like one or two tire sizes. I got pic's in my gallery of leveling kit and 35's

If you don't add a leveling kit, you can still easily fit a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) tire using your oem wheel.
