35x12.20 R17 help!

I have a 2003 ford f150 fx4 with stock 17x7.5 (i believe) wheels.
I am looking at getting a set of 35x12.50 dunlop mud rovers or Kumho Road Venture M/Ts. I have no problem cutting the front to allow for no rubbing, but will that size tire fit on the stock rim?

Yes it will. The factory wheel is a little too narrow for that wide of a tire, but it will fit. Several members here run that setup.

Just cranked the torsions up all the way and let them back down about 2 turnes, gained about am inch and a half. Am thinking about eventually getting a body lift, but i want to go ahead and put the tires on. Will I have any problems with any of the local companies putting those tires on?

They will fit, but they are gonna rub the frame slightly at full steering lock using the oem wheels.

Some places will give you a hard time mounting a tire that big, just find a place that will do it. And don't forget your alignment since you cranked the t-bars.

ehh... it's gonna be tight. crank up the bars fully, you won't hurt anything. i would not do any offroading til you have a body lift at the very least, unless you want a smashed fender due to lack of wheel well clearance. on the street you should be okay. like it was said, you will hit the frame at full lock.

I had a shop do my body lift, due to a lack of tools. For the lift, install, shocks, tuner, and gap guards, they charged about $1500.

It was like $200 for BL, $400 for tuner, $80 for Gap Guards, $140 for shocks, and $700 for install of all that.
