So, I was pretty much set on a set of 295/75/16 Nitto TG on a 16x10 rim(4.5bs). But....Last night I saw some 325/60/18's on a F150(04, i think). It was pretty slick. I found some 18x9 with 5" bs. I have a 2001 xlt 4x4. I want the tires to stick out an inch or two. Which combo Is gonna sit wider and how much. And have better fitment? Thanks!

 

i have 4 5/8 back spacing id say mine sit out about 2" or so. personally i have always like small rims bigger tires but my opinion has started to change lately. but on the 97-03 body style 16's hands down looks the best IMO. and its much cheaper.

 

I have 16x10 with 4.5" of backspacing. Has a great stance. Stick with 16's. They look awesome!

 

A 9 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of bs is gonna stick out 1.5 inches farther than the oem 16x7 wheels and 1 inch farther than the oem 17x7.5 inch wheels.

 

im not quite sure on my backspace, but my 16x10 fit great on my truck, with 285/75/16 terra grapplers. They only stick out about a half inch/inch out the fender's, which to me is perfect. rocks are tearing up my flares though

 

i have an 8" wide wheel with 4.5" of bs on 285s and mine barely stick out of the fenders. guess wider tires will fix that a bit
