New Tires...FINALLY! Cooper Zeon LTZ (PICS)

Well gang, as you may have read, I finally made up my mind on my new tire purchase, and so far I absolutely could not be more pleased! I got the Cooper Zeon LTZ in 275/60/20, and I love the way they look. Pictures absolutely do not do them justice, and on looks alone, I'm glad I went with these versus the Nitto TG. These are, IMO, just a more aggressive looking tire, and they've done all I've asked of them off road so far as well.

Here are a few pics for ya. Again, pics really don't do them justice, but you can see it's a substantial improvement over the HT tires I had before.

Let me know whatcha think! BTW, these pics are also after cranking my TB to level it out.

Now all that's left to do for a while is to remove the chrome, side trim piece, but I imagine that will be a MAJOR PITA!

Thanks for the props gang! I appreciate it. I'm really diggin' the new set up. It's almost like I've got a new truck!

There is a little road noise with these tires, but I expected a little noise. Not obnoxious by any means, and it's more of a faint hum than anything. There's actually less noise than I thought there'd be, and if I'm honest, I kinda dig it!

They really dig in too. I fish a local river quite frequently, and none of the ramps I launch at are paved, and most aren't even gravel. A few of them are quite hairy, and I get MUCH better traction on these now.

I honestly don't think I could be happier with my tire purchase. Of course time will tell, but I think these will be great tires.

Thanks again gents!

Sure! It's simple really...single aluminized pipe from the cats back, and a "Y" where the muffler should be () going to dual aluminized pipes....45ed out the back on each side with 3" black-chrome tips.

I had a SI/DO flowmaster, and it sounded good, but this set up sounds GREAT!

Looks great. I gave TGs and not much traction on wet pavement. What's the price on the coopers?

On the 275/60/20 I paid $755 delivered. Not too shabby considering the cheapest I found the TGs in the same size was about $1100 installed. Plus, the Zeons have 1/32 deeper tread than the same size TG.

We got a LOT of rain last night, and the wet traction last night and this morning has been great. Liking these tires more all the time....
