Good Year Wrangler MTR's

Anyone running these?

I am towing a 20ft travel trailer with these wrapped about some Eagle Alloys. They indicate they are Load Range D. When I pulled the trailer home, they felt solid. I'd like to get some more mileage out of them as they are still in pretty good shape with plenty of tread.

Would anyone have any reservations of towing with these tires?

Thanks.

They're good tires. My dad had them on his superduty 315/75/16 never had a single problem and they wore pretty good as well. They were actually my second choice of a MT being I like their perf as well as looks. The KM2s are just too damn sexy lol

I ran them on my Jeep (Load range E) and they were awesome. I ran them at camp Jeep through mud pits and rocks flawlessly. I kept them rotated every other oil change and they wore fine. My Jeep got stolen a year later, so can't help you with the mileage...or the towing. I would have bought them again if I could get a 35x12.5x18.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I've been keeping mine rotated. The Eagle's are somewhat dulled right now, but I started buffing them out last night. I think I bought them in 2002 and after several winters and snow, they've done well in anything I need to drive in..

The MTR's are excellent tires offroad.

Onroad, there leaves something to be desired. They ride a little rougher and wear faster than some other M/T's (BFG/Toyo).

However, they're great tires if you really need them.
