Talking Need opinions on tires

Ok finally got the 2.5 as on order now it's time to decide on tires for now i'm going with oem weels due to cash flow i've always liked bfg's at's but i keep reading bad reviews about wear life and slick in the rain. Any input on tire brands would be appreciated like noise, ride, wear, cost can't wait to get that look but don't want to regret it neither so help me out guys any input is appreciated thanks.. By the way love the set up legiron's running (kick *** truck legiron) almost forgot tire size i'm looking at is 285/65-18 or anything close

You can easily get 60000 miles out of the AT KO's. I've also never had a problem with wet weather traction.

I'm running the BFG AT's and have over 25k miles on them, from the way they look they may go 75k. I live in South Louisiana and drive in the rain almost daily and they handle great in the rain. I also have a set of Toyo AT's that are really nice but ride a little rougher then the BFG's. Toyo make's Nitto tires so the all-terrain's are pretty close in comparison.

I actually got to test my BFG AT KO's the other night in the rain, the roads in my area were flooding and all. The tires still handled very good, better than any tire i've ever had.

The Nitto Terra Grappler and Toyo AT are also excellent choices.

I was gonna go with a bigger tire but was told since i pull a 6000# tt the back fender may bottom out on the tire. Also don't want to get into re gearing 64 mile round trip everyday also concerned about gas so i guess i'm sticking with 285

I think the only people that have problems with the BFGs are wranglers. They are so light, there's not too much you can do. At least that's who I see complaining about them. In all, I think it comes down to the driver. Get the BFGs...you'll be happy.

Might be the BFG Rugged Trails, stocker's. Actually mine weren't that bad, took 'em off at 21K with only half wear. "P" rated tires suitable for going to Church and then making Wal-Mart run's!

Well gtrider245 it's actually the discount tire web site i was comparing prices and noticed there was a customer review tab and that's where it started nothing but bad reviews i'm starting to think maybe they just expect alot more for the price cuz damn there expensive. Still uncertain on my choice just gonna give it a little more thought.
