305/65/18

I have a 2wd SC with 2.0 AS and 1.5 Rear Block. Last time I checked, most people recommended the BFG A/T 285/65/18, but recently I saw a leveled 4X4 with 305/65/18's and it looked perfect. Since my truck is close to the hight of a leveled 4x4, can I fit the BFG 305/65/18 A/T also? I will be keeping the stock wheels.

you are only sitting level with a stock 4x4 not a leveled 4x4. your rear height would work but your front you would rub. but im not saying it wont work. we put a set up 35" nitto terra graplers on my friends 01 f150 2wd. pulled off the front valence and they didnt rub. just not alot of room for suspension travel.

I forgot to mention I have a 2007. To me, it looks like my truck sits slightly higher than my friends stock FX4 with 20's.

I think I'd stick with the 285x65's (33") on your 4x2, the extra inch may cause problem's. If you can test fit a 305x65 that would be great but that's hard to do unless you have a shop willing to work with you.

I'm just a new guy to this stuff, but you can surely learn quite a bit fairly quickly from these threads. And these guys that posted know what they are talking about, definetly take the advice they give.

Mine is a 4x2 with 2.0 AS and 285/65/18's. As you can see, that's about all you can get in there. IMO the 305's would look too crowded.
