FX4 wheels Powder Coated!..with real pics now!

Step 1: find a set of 2003 FX4 wheels cheap...

Solution: Found a set for FREE on craigslist

Step 2: Send them off to get powdercoated

Step 3: Paint the center caps silver and tape off the oval

Step 4: Put it all together!

Powdercoat is a 10% gloss black with a 20% gloss clear coat over

Wheels will be mounted tomorrow and i'll throw some pics up here after work!

Looks sharp man! Nice indeed. Now you got me wanting to do the same to my chrome 20s. Just don't know if chrome can be powder coated very well...

im sure it can with the right prep work.

i mean, my powder coater sanded down my rear bumper and powder coated it. it looks great and matches perfectly to the rest of the truck.

Powder Coating was done by Complete Powder Coating and Paint in Denver,CO

got them on and i'm am very pleased!

here are some quick shots...didn't have much time before it started to dump rain, the lightning was getting closer which i blame for the blurry shots

here's what the truck looked like before...

side shot of the wheels...again blame the lightning haha

thank you all! what i pain it was to get them, first guy i went to mainly does bed liners with PC on the side...had a cheap blasting gun and the nozzle blew (up) out. Found CPC&P and dropped them off and unfortunately the guy who was blasting them went out with a re-emerged shoulder injury and was out for 5 days. so it took a little time and a whole lot of patience!

looks pretty good. imo having the rockers and the fender flairs and that piece on the bumper black would finish the looks off perfect.
