What color wheels?
I just bought this 1981 F-150 Ranger, and it only has, certified by CarFax, 35,000 miles on it. It is a nice truck, but the wheels are painted red, which I don't like.
This is the sort of thing you see south of the border, but the 81 F150 truck only had 35,000 miles on it, and I stole it for 1,500. It has a 351 Windsor 2V, but only has 130 horsepower. Remember, this truck was built during the end of the gas crunch. Not a problem though, It buries the 85 MPH speedo needle if you get on it. I just have to do something about those ugly assed wheels though. I sprayed some paint remover on a small spot on one of the wheels, and it is just a regular steel wheel underneath, so it has to be painted. I think I will save myself some moolah and just paint them black without stripping them. Or maybe even white, what do you guys think? How about leaving them red and adding chrome beauty rings?
