I found a decent set of rims with tires, but will 17 inch rims off a '03 f-150 Larriat fit on my '98 F-150 4x4. I have no lift , and know I will have spedo problems, but will it affect my auto trans. from shifting properly?

 

They'll fit fine. 03's have different wheel studs than your 98, but that makes NO difference. The only thing that will effect your speedometer is tire diameter. Your truck doesn't care and has no way of knowing what size the wheels are.

 

All you need to do is use lugnuts for your 98 truck. The wheels will fit.
