BFG sizing ?
I ordered a 2.5 AS leveling kit and is on the way for my 04 screw and I was debating on the 305s for my stock 18's. I haven't seen any of them in person for my 18's but I just saw a leveled truck with the 285/65 on 17's and those are 32" tall (I measured them) and it didn't look half bad.
My questions are;
1, are the 285s the same height and width for the 17s as well as the 18s?
2 Does bfg make the a/t in a size between the 285 and 305 for my stock 18" wheel?
3 What is the actual size in inches of the 305/65/18 and the 285/65/18? I thought that I read before around here that the 305 was a 34" tire.
My questions are;

. A 285/70R17 according to BFG website is 32.8", compared to the 285/65R18 which measures 32.7" (both are essentially a 33x11.5) and the 305/65R18 measures 33.7" (essentially a 34x12.5). Not sure how you measured that 285/70R17 (measure horizontally tread to tread passing over the center of the wheel) cause I'm sure it would have measured out to a 33" (or very very close) not 32". Also, keep in mind BFG measurements are taken on un-mounted and un-inflated tires, while Toyo and Nitto, as well as other companies take there measurements on mounted and inflated tires. I've measured my 35x12.5 BFG KM 2's and they always come out to 35" not 34.8" which is what they have marked on there site, but like I said they measure their tires un-mounted and un-inflated and mine of course are mounted and inflated which will make them a little bigger

1. Yes the 285/70R17 and 285/65R18 are (essentially) the same size
2. No BFG does not make a size between the 285 and 305 for not only your stock 18" wheels but aftermarket 18's too
