2" AS and 285's or 295's???
Looking to see if anybody has this setup on an 04-08? I bought the 2" AS kit this weekend and looking at either a 285/70R17 or 295/70R17 Tire, I dont wanna go too tall, so I think these sizes may be a better choice for me. Also im undecided on the tires I want, I dont do ANY offroading, maybe twice a year, nothing much at all. So a Mud Tire would not be sutable for me. Looking fo any advice/replies, and lotsa pics if possible. Thanks for the help guys.

I have a spare set of 285x70x17 Toyo AT's that actually look a little small in the wheelwells of my leveled 4x4. I'd go with the 295x70 Nitto terragrapplers or even a little taller, a 305x70 which is close to 34 inches tall. A 285 or 295 is probably a better all around sized tire for most people. I just like how the taller tires look. Just my 2 cent's.

I havent got aroud to it but I got a new set of 295/70/17 Nittos andI think they fill wheel well up just fine. I am going to post pics but I have been working a lot of 12 hour days and in process of buying house , so I have not had time. I also have 2 inch level kit. In my opinion they are perfect size. Boyd

I have a 2.5 AS up front and 3" AS blocks in the rear. I love how my 295/70/17 Nitto TG's look.
If you go through with it plan on buying a tuner cause you'll need it.

Good looking trucks guys. boyd Id like to see those pics when you get them. I really didnt think the 295's would be all that heavy, i do alot of towing and could use all the power I can get, id love to get a programmer, but cant really afford it right away. How much power difference did you notice?? Would I be wiser to go with the 285's then to save a little power? I dont want the tires to looked "crammed" in the fenders, I dont prefer that look. I just want it to look like its the "right size" look. Thanks for the input, I havent bought anything yet still deciding. I would like to see all the pics I can though.
