Do my wheels look like spare tires? *PICS*

When I first painted them I thought it looked cool, and I guess I still do, but some people see them and think spare tire...? I think it would look better with a bigger tire. Maybe even get rid of the white lettering but what do you guys think?

Yes I know its dirty.

i think some bigger tires would help a ton. throw on a set of 265/75/16's. paint the center caps, lower valance and grille and call it a day. o and black letters out on the tires

I think some bigger tires would help out a lot, and not have them look so much like spare tires.

did you do flat black? i think semi-gloss would look better. also those center caps IMO should be more chrome instead of grey

Yeah it's semi-gloss. Hopefully the bigger tires help out. I just don't have the money for some rims. Just not worth it right now. I think painting the grill, and the lower valence would help match the color of the entire front bumper. I already had a thread over taking the side steps and the mud guards off, and I decided to keep them for now. Also undecided on the bug shield, but sometimes it's not as black as i'd like. Might make it more clean.

My friend keeps bugging me, telling me to lower it, but I kinda like its stance now. If I get bigger tires I guess it would look better to lower it...?

I am personally not a fan of the rims myself, but If you did it right, and made everything black with some bigger tires would look good.

Honestly...they look like work truck wheels! I love black wheels but the wheel style kills it for me!

you deffinitely need some bigger meats, like 33's or something. Oh and lose the side step. It'll look a lot better.

Ya know I planned on making it low and fast but it would be cool to get some bigger a/t, and just make it look cool, cause right now it just doesn't look good.

Which tire exactly would you think would look good. Im runnin 235/70/16 right now.
