Firestone or Bridgestone ?

Hello, I have to get new tires. I'm looking at the Firestone Destination AT or Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo. Anybody have any comments, good or bad about either of these. 275/60-20 is what I need.

I just got Destination AT's also. I replaced my Revo's, which was a good tire, but only lasted 33k miles. I went Destination based on price and reviews.

I have the Revo's with probably 25-30k on them and there is easily half tread or more left. I love the open shoulder design which the destinations i think are lacking.

275 70 17 Destination AT's here. I've had them for 40,000 km's now. No complaints at all. They're very quiet and wearing well. I still have a lot of life left in mine.
There are some pics in my gallery if you're so inclined.

Check out this review on a whole bunch of AT tires and see where the Destinations are rated.

You do realize that Bridgestone owns Firestone, don't you?
Typically Firestone tires are little more than the previous generation of Bridgestones with different sidewall markings and possibly a slightly different tread pattern

I need tires in the next 6 months. I plan to purchase the Firestone Destination A/T's in stock size. I would love to increase to 275 or 285 but my truck is already thirsty for the gas.

I had a set of the original Bridgestone Duelers and loved them. Excellent tire.

Ive got the destinatons. I love them. They look pretty aggressive for an AT and they ride great.

The Destination AT is a great tire and always has been a great seller. From a rubber standpoint, it isn't quite as advanced as the Revo. They both share the UNI-T technology to get good comfort and treadwear, but the Revo goes further to incorporate the AQII technology, which changes the tire's rubber compound as it wears. Over time the Destination A/T will begin to get harder due to heat cycles, and lose a bit of traction in the rain as a result. The Revo will still be pliable. The Revo does have a bit better off road capability as well due to the more open tread design.

Both are great tires though. For their cost (which is better than the Revo), they are in my opinion the best tire out there aside from the Brigestone and usually my second pick when making recommendations to customers. Call me if I can help or to order.

I have the Revo on my own truck:
