Need new tires (leaving in a few hours to get them) Need help ASAP

Hey all, I am incredibly busy this morning and do not have time to research this so I was hoping that someone on here could quickly provide an answer...

I have a 2007 F150 XLT supercrew 2wd and I am getting new tires in a few hours. What is the largest size I can go with without any leveling/lift kits and do you have any recommendations?

Thanks

I have 265/65R18 - stock on my 2008 F150 XLY SCrew. Without leveling I doubt you can go any bigger than a 275/65R18. Once I get my leveling kit on this week I am going to go with 275/70R18's.

I have 265/70/17s and you can go 285/70/17. I have the Michelin LT/MS and I think they are as good as it gets

Are you positive that I can go with the 285/70/17 on a stock setup?

They will fit easily using the oem wheels and a leveling kit. I think they will fit using the oem wheels without a leveling kit. If you don't want to level or lift the truck at all, I'd go down a size.

No, I am not positive, altough, I still have lots of room with my 265s and I think others have said they are running them. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I will add, my 265/70/17s are a great size, in my opinion.

Thanks Wendell,

Why would you try to steer someone clear of these tires if they are not going to level or lift?

In case Wandell is unable to get back with you, I take his statement as saying they will probably fit, but if you want to make absolutly sure, go down a size or be ready to add a leveling kit, if they do rub.

It's not that I don't think they will fit. Personally, I just think the wheelwells will look too stuffed with 285's on a stock 4x2.
