325/70/17

hey i just got my 325/70/17 terra grapplers on, ill post pics tommorrow because it is dark now

But i have a question, i seem to rub at the bottom of the fender flare so i was wondering what i could do to fix it

More lift or do some trimming.

here is where it rubs, it kind of took the flare off just a bit in the corner

that sucks where it rubbing. your could either cut it, or drill a whole into it and into the wheel well and use a plastic thing (looks like a nail, but with a big head, and the "shaft" of it won't allow it to pull out) don't known the name of them but that could work pretty well im sure. you can get them at an auto store.

im goin to play around with it some when i get home, it would be a nice excuse to get coilovers

Maybe :santa: can bring you some 5100's or you could drop some hints that you want a gift cert. to Top Gun Customz or 4WP.

now on the 5100's can i set it at 1"? and then get the pc 5.5" block and 1.5" aal for the rear

It's hard to tell if the link you posted is for trucks lifted 0"-2" or if it lifts the truck 0" or 2". It's just not worded very clearly.

As far as the 1" setting goes, I think Bilstein makes 3 different versions of the lift 5100's for the F-150: 0", 1", 2" - 0" or 2" - 4" or 6"

What are you currently using for the rear lift?

thats what i had to trim, i just used a dremel , now i can turn the wheel to full lock even in reverse with out rubbing

i wouldnt do the bilsteins, it would be too tempting to go higher, then it would make those new tires look small

yea it would be to tempting, but i think i fixed it, there is a clip under neath it so i just put it back in place and it is holding flush with the wheel well now
