called in to get a quote for new lift, rims, and tires today and couldn't get the pro comp rims i wanted. seems everyone but the mickey thompson and **** cepek guys have quit making rims for the 97-03 trucks. got my guy at the shop to dig up some brand new black helo maxx 6's for me though. if this is true, this is gonna be a big problem for us 97-03 guys. why the hell did ford pick that bolt pattern anyway? only truck...no wait, VEHICLE in history to use that pattern

 

I hear ya, having a helluva time trying to find a set of 16" black rims that I like with the 5x135 bolt pattern.

 

Yea this just sucks for us 97-03 guys, theres not a huge selection of wheels for our year model trucks but when I look on the roads I see more 97-03 trucks than any other year model, good luck on finding wheels that you like and be sure to post some pics for us when you get`em put on

 

you can't blame companies, the truck had been outta production for at least 5 years. just the facts of life, i guess.

 

I changed my bolt pattern to 5x5.5 It's not an everyday driver though.

From what I hear from the guy's on here is that it's not at great way to go but so far so good for me.
