33's on stock wheels without levelling kit??

I just purchased an '04 FX4 Crewcab that I need new tires fo. I don't want to have to worry about rubs, etc.... but also don't want to install a lift or levelling kit just yet. That being said, how big of a tire can I use without worrying? I am thinking of BFG AT's or Bridgestone Duellers... something aggressive but not true mud terrains..... Also, any pics out there of something with bigger tires and no levelling kit??

My stock rims are 17".... PLEASE HELP, I NEED TO DO SOMETHING ASAP!! THANKS, AD

Both of those are excellent choices. I'd suggest going with a 285/70-17 (33x11.50), 295/70-17 (34x12.00) or a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) size. All of those will fit fine using your oem wheels.

Why not try some Pro Comp Xtreme ATs. On stock 18" FX4 wheels you can fit 35x12.50/18...My '04 FX4 has 18s stock...what do your 17s look like?

He doesn't want a leveling kit though.

I would stick with something in the 285 range at the most.

then the 285/70/17 will be fine because it is an inch narrower than the 305/65

I just bought a set of 285/70/17 with no level and no plan to. I love the way they look and they fill up the wheel well alot better than those americraps do. Here is a pic from another user named 50 something that will show you a little pic

Anyone try out the Hankook RT03 M/T's? I can get a good deal on them, they have a nice tread pattern, but wanted to know if anyone had first hand experience with them.
