315/70/17 fit on my stock 07 wheel?
Title says it all. I just bought a 07 F150 4x4 and was wondering if this tire size will fit on my wheels with out future problems such as the center or sides wearing out too fast? Will I also need a 2.5 inch leveling kit with this set up? Im not sure if the truck has one or not b/c it does not sit uneven like factory.

Welcome to the forum. Search around, there are money posts like this
They will fit on your stock wheels, although slightly wider than ideal. The center may wear down a little more than the outside but not bad. You will need a leveling kit. Most people here prefer the autospring 2" leveling kit, or the Bilstein 5100 shocks that level the front end 2". Those tires on stock wheels will rub the control arms slightly at full lock, so you'll have to train yourself not to turn the wheel quite all the way.
Power loss depends somewhat on what gear ratio your truck has. You have either 3.55 gears or 3.73 gears. If you post the axle code from your door jamb we can tell you what gears you currently have.
Many people here run 35's with both gearsets, however the 3.55s will have a bigger loss. Not a huge deal if you don't haul/tow a lot, but it will be slower.
Expect a 1-2 mpg loss with a corrected speedometer.
Post some pictures of the truck here when you can, including close ups of the front coils and lower control arm angles and we can try to help figure out if there is a leveling kit already installed or not.

When I went from my stock 32" tires to my 315's I lost roughly 2 mpg mostly in city driving. With a programmer I average 16 to 18 mpg on my daily 100 mile commute. The 315's are to be used with a 8 1/2" wide wheel min. I run mine on 8" wide aftermarket wheels with no wear problems. I have over 30k miles on my BFG's and they look like they may go 90k miles. A lot of guy's run 315's on stock wheels with no problem's. If your truck has 3.55 gear's a 285,295 or 305x70x17 may fill the need's better. If you do any towing or like a truck that does not run like a snail you may be better off with a smaller tire.

Damn...I thought my 80 mile commute a day sucked and I don't even use my truck as a daily driver anymore for exactly that reason.
