I was just wondering if anyone may have had these put on their truck or has seen them. Also i was wondering if i could fit 285/55 20 on a 4wd 1998 f150.
I don't have that model.
Yes, you can fit a 285/55-20 which is basically a 33x11.50-20 tire. You may or may not have to trim some plastic off the front bumpers's lower valance depending on the wheel width and backspacing.
i would or would not have to trim the plastic? and also so you know where i could see the wheels on my truck before i bought them? like a wheel visualizer?
Whether or not you have to trim will depend on the wheel you use. What's it's width and backspacing? If it's 10 inches wide with 4.5 inches of backspacing, you are gonna have to trim a little. If it's narrower, you probably will not.
i will have to do some trimming then unless i got a lift would you suggest a body or suspension lift? if I got a body lift would it matter with my k&n intake

Just so you know, I'm only talking about trimming about 1/2 inch off the corner of the valance. It's not a big deal. If you are gonna lift the truck, I'd go ahead and go with 35's.
A body lift or suspension lift will work.
