NASCAR Daytonas

I've been searching for almost a year now for a set of 16" black rims that I like that come in that damn 5x135 bolt pattern. I found a set I liked but I didn't have the $$ at the time but now they don't make them anymore so getting a replacement if one gets damaged could be a PITA so I skipped them.

I've seen these wheels for a while but since they are only in 17s or 18s I passed on them. But the more I looked at them the more they grew on me. After doing some figuring with the tire size calculator I've pretty much decided on these 17s with 275/60/17 tires, this will keep my gear ratio and speedo almost the same as it is now.

Only thing I will have to get changed will be the pin stripe. I just dont think the red will look good with a green truck.

They have these in 18s but I like the yellow strip so I think I'll just get the red painted over with the yellow. I know some of you may say, why not get the 18s, well I just don't want to go that big.

Any thoughts or info from anyone who has installed the Daytonas.

I like that wheel, except for the red stripe and the NASCAR logo.

Thanks. Will still be a couple weeks yet but come spring she gets new boots no matter what.

After doing more research and getting ideas from others, it looks like its gonna be the 18s. I can put 255/55/18s on them to save $$ and it will keep all my ratios/speedo issues about the same. Its just too bad the brand of tire I want doesn't make them in a 60 cuz then the ratio/speedo would be exactly the same.
