Take a look at teh Firestone Destination ATs (285-70-17). I just put a set on my expedition, and they are quieter, than the Conti Suvs, thay replaced. What little bit o dirt they have seen, they are as good as teh BFG ATs, I had on my F150. Can't really speak for mileage, but at 800 miles the nubs arene't even worn off yet. They have gotten good reviews everywhere I haev looked. Tire Rack has some good prices. Firestone centers are high, if you want to go that route, go online and get a price through teh repair center web site and take it in with you. I checked both and online was about 150 bucks cheaper/. For the 285s the center wanted 987.00, online 750.00. I ended up getting them froma local shop for 680, mounted, balanced and road hazard, OTD.
