Nitto 295/70/17

Hello, My 2008 F150 4x4 has 245/70/17 tires with the 7- lug steel painted wheels. This was part of the heavy duty payload package. I just ordered 4 new nitto terra's 295/70/17 from e-bay. It has the bilstein 2" leveling shocks and 4:10 gears but did not want to go up to a size 35" tire for towing reasons. Ok after reading alot of info in this forum I know the 295's will fit without a problem. There is Rons Rims selling 7- lug eagle wheels on e-bay that would be a big improvement to the wheels I have now appearance wise. Now this is what I dont know, will these wheels that are I think 8" wide work for me without rubbing? Are these wheels strong enough to handle towing and heavy payloads or are they mostly for looks? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for the reply. I e-mailed Rons and he said they are 8 inch wide and they will stick out about 1" futher than stock wheel so rubbing wont be an issue. So will these fit inside the wheel well without sticking out? Trying to keep it legel here in N.J. They can not stick out from the top of the wheel well to the ground or it is required to put flares on. Eagle series058 17x8 Polished 7 on 150 offset-0 mm BSM-4 1/2 N/I 3040 lbs. 25 lbs.

An 8 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of bs is gonna stick out 1.5 inches farther than the oem wheels (which are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of bs). That combo should fit fine.
