Basic question

I have a 2004 F150 4x4 super crew. Stock tires are 275/65/18. I'd like to get a larger tire to fill up the well a little more. Can anyone tell me what the largest tire size I can get without making any modifications (eg lift) and avoid rubbing? Thanks in advance.

Try either a 285/65-18 or 275/70-18. Both fit with no problems.

Go with the 285/65R18. You will have absolutely no rubbing issues and will fill the wheel wells up a lot more. If you went with the 275/70 you probly wouldn't notice much of a difference from your stockers.

Here is a 4x2 with 285/65R18 Nitto TG's with stock wheels - I do have the AS 2" in front
but it gives you an idea of what it looks like! I think with the 4x4 you could fit these with
out anything.

That would be true with a leveling kit.
