chrome or black?

hey guys. i have a quick question and would like your opinions and suggestions. i have an 04 scab 4x4 in the bright red color. i was wondering which everyone though looked better with the red truck, black wheels or chrome wheels? i love the black wheels, but im not sure how they would look on a red truck. my truck is also an xlt so it has the chrome bumpers instead of ptm. i have looked at all of the "show your tires" threads, but i cant seem to find many examples. any opinions and/or pics are greatly appreciated, thnx. oh i am looking at getting either the moto metal 951's or the xd monsters. again thnx everyone.

Definitely go black, then get those bumpers either PTM or powder coat them black.

This is 07FX4Chick's truck.... check her gallery for more pics.

I'd go black if you didn't have the chrome bumpers but since you do I'd go with the chrome. It blends better.

I would rather have black wheels but I've got the chrome bumpers so if I ever upgrade it'll be chrome.

+1 I would have to agree with dexx00420... I would definitely go for black wheels but since you mentioned that your bumpers are already chromed, then chrome wheels would blend better with your ride.

I too like the black look but in this case I'd have to go with the chrome. Post picks when you get it figured out!

How about both..... "knight chrome". pro comp makes it, and it is a blend of both. has kind of a shiny gun metal color to it. i personally love it, and since it is a powder coat chrome, it is really durable. below is a pic of mine.... sorry it isnt a close up, but its the best view i have of my wheels.

thanks everyone. i was thinking the same thing about the bumpers. if they werent chrome but were ptm then definately black wheels and black bull bar. but as they are i guess its chrome for me. i'll get pics as soon as i can after i get the wheels, but gotta wait and see what the tax return will be this yr ...again thanks everyone...oh and i am gonna go with 285/65/18 Nitto TG on 18x9 XD Monsters with 5.71 bs. that setup should fit fine with a leveling kit right?

I have that size tire on mine and it's a 4x2 without a leveling kit. So you should have no problem.

go bigger than 285....you will be disappointed if you do. Better go 305 or 315 if you level it to fill up the wheel well. Not much more expensive than the 285's either.
