Unhappy noob question. rubbing!

currently the tires i have on my truck are 32x11.50R15LT. and at full turn (eitherway) they rub. i want to stop that rubbing. now i was told to put some 2" wheel extenders so that way the wheel itself will come out more and when i turn it wont rub. would that be a good salution? i really dont wanto get new tires since these are in mosly new conditions. thanks for you time.

I am somewhat a noob as well but I have read that the wheel extenders are NOT good.

Do you have more details on your truck?

you can use wheel spacers. I have them on my truck. And i beat the pis out of my truck weekly.

Now i am not FOND of wheel spacers especially used in offroad situations but i didnt have much of a choice. It was spacers or kiss my Tie-rods good bye. The tires rubbing on the frame when turning was really killing the tie-rods.

The spacers are just as strong as keeping it stock. As long as they stay TIGHT they will be fine.

The spacers will accelerate wheel baring wear. How much faster thats hard to say but it burns them quicker.

I like that 88 f150...guess I like all the older f150's...sometimes I wish I would have bought something like that instead of a newer model then I wouldn't worry so much every time it gets abused at work...

thats the main reason why i got an older truck.... you just dont care if some one dings or dents or lightly scraches as much as a new one. and the second reason is monthly payents! lol i bougth my cash and its been good to me ever since. thanks and your rig is very nice.
