I want black beadlocks? How do I go about getting them? I have 35" bfg mud terrains mounted on 16 X 8 eagle alloys. How much do beadlocks cost and all? I dont wanna spend a whole lot. Thanks for any info!

Is this a daily driver? Most beadlocks are not legal for highway use.

Why aren't they legal? Aren't they actually safer?

From what I understand the bolts on standard beadlocks loosen constantly and have to be retightened. The government has forced manufacturers to install tire pressure sensors on new vehicles because a good number of people are too stupid to keep air in their tires, so they surely don't trust people to retighten dozens of bolts on a set of beadlocks regularly.

When you install beadlocks, you cut off the outside lip of the rim, so the only thing holding the tire on is the beadlock. And like wandell said, they have to be constantly monitored for loosening.

I'm pretty sure you can't add a simulated bead lock unless the rims are already designed for it.

They are not DOT approved. Like they said earlier, safer maybe at low speed but not so much at high speed.
