Toyo Open Country 285 75 18
Hi all, my first post here, been doing a lot of reading though and it's a great site.
I'm looking to get taller not really wider tires. I am looking at the Toyo Open Country 285 75 18 AT, specs are 34.8 tall, 11.4 section width, I'll be putting these on American Racing Fuel wheels 18 x 8.5 with 6" b.s. and +30 mm offset. I currently have a 2.5 Topguncustomz leveling kit. Any ideas, comments are just wanna call me crazy.. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I don't really go off road, but live in the country and due to snow, mud and dirt roads, need something that can give me decent traction but great highway use. These tires appear to have great reviews from what I've found.
thanks.

You've made an excellent choice. I've got the 2.5" AS level kit and 20x9 aftermarket rims with 6" backspace. No one made that size for 18" rims when I started looking so I ended up with the BFG K/O in a 285/65/20 which is the same. I've looked at the Toyo' in that size to put on my OEM rims to run in the winter but just don't have the funds. Don't know allot about Toyo tires but you will like that size, they fill the wheel wells but don't have so much drag to rob your truck of power and no rubbing issues. Make sure to post some pics when you get them on.

Its a great tire, I have 285/65/18s on my truck and couldn't be happier. With the exception of snow (since we dont have it), I can say first hand they perform good on highway and mud/dirt roads. You'll be happy with them.
And Welcome to the site!
