Does anyone know if you put 24'' or 26'' rims on a FX2 supercrew; would you need to get bigger or more powerful brakes & rotors to handle the much heavier rims?

 

Yes, you can. Upgrading brakes is always a good idea but most people don't.

 

if you can afford it, i would definitely get bigger brakes. or at the minimum, crossdrilled rotors and hawk pads. your gonna warp the stock rotors in no time and roast stock pads in no time.

Just added 23's, while I will say the breaking is different, I would not really say it is drastic. YMMV. From what I hear the pads and rotors don't really hold up well on stock much less big rims so when mine go I will beef them up.
