Do you think a black wheel will look ok on my dark stone truck? I'm looking at the pro comp 7005's which according to pro comp should be off backorder in the next few weeks. I'm picking up the Bridgestone Revo's today in 285/70/17

My goal is to have some wheels that I don't have to take off in the winter.
I'm just torn if black wheels are going to clash with the brown too much.

I think the 7005s look great on any truck. Although if it was me I'd say while you're at it ptm those bumpers, ditch the side steps, and paint the headlights black as seen in the DIY thread.



Edit: Just saw you also have a chrome toolbox. If you're not planning on getting rid of any of the chrome I'd say go for another chrome wheel. IMO it's not that the black and your color would clash, it's that the black+chrome combo on your color would clash. Your color with just the chrome looks real classy. I know you said not to say it but your truck looked sweet with the old wheels and tires.

 

You could also consider a black wheel with silver accents to pick up the chrome in your bumpers (not sure if that flaots your boat or not). I recently ordered the Eagle 185's for my truck, they would look good on yours as well. Otherwise, all black would look mean on your truck! The 7005's are very nice wheels!! Thats my 2 cents.
