I need help with back spacing offset and so on..

I'm looking at http://aewheel.com/eagle_alloy_wheels.cfm?id=287 these wheels but I really have no idea when it comes to sizing them to my truck. My size will be 20" in chrome they will be going on 33" tires, could somone help me with back spacing bolt pattern offset??

If you go to the link then click tech specs it gives a hole sheet of options.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Scott.

Your bolt pattern is 6x135mm. So, your options are the 20x8.5 or the 20x10. Both have 4.6 inches of backspacing. This means the 8.5's will stick out about 2 inches farther than the 17 and 18 inch oem wheels and the 10's will stick out about 3.5 inches farther. THe 20x8.5's will fit much better.

Nice! Im glad I didn't go with the 20x10's on a leveling kit it would have looked like to much tire. I have the stock 20's not the 17 or 18's what would the difference be on these in inches?

How do you like the wheels?

they are nice wheels, they are very similar to the hulks. if you truck is gonna be lifted go with the 20x10 with the 4.5 backspace, it will give you a nice wide stance. i have 20x10 wheels with a 4 5/8" backspace. this is a crappy pic, but close to the eagle 064s' 35's on 20x10's with a 4.5 backspace. if you don't want the tire to stick out, go with the 20x8.5, but they won't look deep dish

If your stock wheels are same as mine - link to gallery pic may work above, my '06 stock wheels are 20x8.5 and have 6.5"backspace.

To expand on what Wandell, the wheel wizard said, if you opt for the 20x8.5 Eagles with the 4.649 bs (backspace), they'll stick out 1.85" farther than factory 20's. (factory back space of 6.5" minus new bs of 4.649 = 1.85", or about 1 7/8".

Ahhh... I see I see... Alright I'm starting to understand this stuff now, I'm going to be lifting my truck 3" in front and 2" in rear so since I have the factory 20's and they really don't stick out all that much maybe a 20x10 would be a better option...

DocHoliday - I looked and the 20x10 has the same backspace I'm kinda confused on this wouldn't the 20x10 stick out more?

If I were to go with the 20x10's what tire size would you guys recomend for me? My truck will never see the dirt so I really don't need a huge fat tire, I'm looking for more of a less aggresive street tire but yet still having a offroad look. For an example the Toyo M/T Open countrys are to aggresive for me.

I obviously know that I would have to go with a R20 but thats all I know... 325/50??

Thanks guys!

305/55-20 (33x12.50) is more common.
