My programmer did the most for my truck period. I took it off a few months after I bought it just to see it I could tell a difference. I wanted to roll right up in the Ford dealership and leave it I couldnt get it re-installed fast enough. Without my PC it felt like the truck had its emergency brakes barely on lol, but when I edged mine(also recommend Gryphon) bro the brakes were off lol. I then got a AirAid intake, and custom magnaflow exhaust till have both cats just replaced muffler and ran duals roush style. Its gonna be a different truck and for around 700 bucks ur gonna enjoy it. You didnt mention your truck year, or size or motor, mine opinion is based off of the 5.4 Triton.

Even with less power... only you can feel that. The bigger tires probably make it look a whole lot better to everyone else. I would still get a programmer though. I put 33x12.50s on mine and had the same problem. I bought the Edge Evolution with Attitude moniter. It pretty sweet. You can adjust the backlight to match the dash lights and display up to 4 of the many engine parameters it moniters at once.

It has three different stages that you can use. The highest one definitely increases power to the point that you will notice. I refuse to put in the high octane fuel required to use the third stage program. I leave it in the first stage which only changes the transmission shift points and it seems like it has eliminated the feeling of power loss just by changing the shift points. I am happy with it.
