I need an aggressive looking tire, but I only drive on the road(mostly highway). So I don't want to give up alot of handeling or road noise. Im thinking about a 285 or 33. Thanks in advance. All help would be appreciated.

 

What kind of truck do you have, i.e., model year, 4x4 or 4x2? I had 285/65 18 BFG AT/KO's on and thought they were great. Looked good, handled good, and got a ton of life out of them. I got 60,000 plus out of them andwhen I took them off and they were still ok. I have a 2004 NBS 4x4. The only "drawback" of them is the price. They are expensive but I think it's worth it.

 

I'd suggest Toyo AT's, Nitto Terra Grapplers, BFG AT KO's, Bridgestone Dueler AT's, Pro Comp Xtreme AT's, Mickey THompson ATZ's or **** Cepek FC II's.

 

I have a 2006 screw 4x4, with a 5.4 its dark stone metalic. Wandell those are the ones I was looking at but I couln't make up my mind any suggetions. Also thinking about 285/70/17 with a two inch leveling kit should I go Bigger?

 

Also is there a big difference in 285/70/17 and 33/12.5/17 witch is better?

 

The 285 is more like a 11.5" wide tire and will fit your factory wheels better.
