i got my 315/70/17 basically a 35/12.5/17 for $240 a piece, i then found them for cheaper on a site.

onlinetires.com there cheap as hell on some tires. just have a local store price match and you will get away for under $1000 on 17's.

their 35/17 bfg km2s were 233 a piece a while back

Do you have any steering wheels shake with the Pirellis?

wheels

Yeah I personally like the 20's but I guess im kinda bias considering i have them on my truck with 33's. These wheels and tires are for sale by the way, only 8k on the tires 10 on the wheels.

I am at the same point as you are, but I really like the ride of my 20" tires.
When they require replacement I'll replace them two at a time until all are done.
My truck is on Cooper Discovery HT All Weathers. My size is P285-50-R20 on ARE Wheels. I got the wheel and tires from "The Trading Times" news letter.
My OEM's were Bridgestone Dueller AWT P255-70-R16 Tires.

Essentially there is little diameter difference between those sizes and no lifting or offsets were required.

depends on your circumstances and opinion

if i could go back i would do 18s stead o 20s

theres a $200-400 difference in tires for the two size wheels, depending on the tire

im a working student, so my 20s are going to haunt me until i graduate....

it all depends on the maker of the tire and it's only as expensive as you want to make it.

I get a little shake now and then. Usually about 70mph, not to bad at all.

I personally would choose the 20s over the 17s or 18s. I think it looks really awesome on an F150 truck.
