Why don't people like BFGs?

I've had both the BFG KOs and KMs on my Jeep and loved them both. The KOs suck in the mud, but that's what off road/MT tires are for...

I've had mine in everything but deep mud and they do great. Best tire for all around use I've ever had including my Toyo AT's. Only knock against the Toyo's is that they ride rougher than the BFG's. http://

No issues here!!! This pic was taken last year. Tires have well over 45000 miles on them. Just had tires Re-balanced still have about another 5000 or 6000 left on them.

Just ordered a set yesterday. I probably have 15+ hours researching tires and trying to justify spending the premium $ they command. I use them now (6 months old) on my 2WD service van and am continually blown away at how well they work in the snow and mud. I was leaving another particularly nasty gravel pit yesterday and accidentally took an unprepared roadway as I was leaving in the dark. The van sunk so hard into the snow and mud I went from 30mph to maybe 5mph like a hit a friggen wall. I thought for sure I'd need to get a loader and chains to pull my *** outta there but I kept my foot in it and the BFG's clawed like mad and pulled though another 200 yards to a prepared area. When I pulled onto the highway to head home I started thinking about tires for the F-150 again when BINGO, just **** stop crying about how much they cost compared to others and buy the damn BFG's it can't be any clearer now! So I did, 285/55/20's on the way. Long story but it was a cool series of events and I wanted to share

I have a set of 315/70/17s on my 150 that I just bought. They probably have less than 5 K miles. They just look too big for me. Any suggestions??

Hey Dogzilla....

Yea ! I have a suggestion.... trade me straight across for my BFG AT 285/70/17"s..... which are like new..... and are super nice tires.... > They just look too small !

Seriously though buddy, don't complain. I guarantee your tires look better on your truck, than mine do.... not that I think mine look all bad... just on the small side.

Peace,
Fish

I've run them on nearly everything I own. They seem a little stiff sometimes, but I love the look, and swear they wear great! Luckily, my truck came with brand new tires so it will be a bit before I have to figure out what 20" BFG's are going to run me.
