Just ordered a set yesterday. I probably have 15+ hours researching tires and trying to justify spending the premium $ they command. I use them now (6 months old) on my 2WD service van and am continually blown away at how well they work in the snow and mud. I was leaving another particularly nasty gravel pit yesterday and accidentally took an unprepared roadway as I was leaving in the dark. The van sunk so hard into the snow and mud I went from 30mph to maybe 5mph like a hit a friggen wall. I thought for sure I'd need to get a loader and chains to pull my *** outta there but I kept my foot in it and the BFG's clawed like mad and pulled though another 200 yards to a prepared area. When I pulled onto the highway to head home I started thinking about tires for the F-150 again when BINGO, just **** stop crying about how much they cost compared to others and buy the damn BFG's it can't be any clearer now! So I did, 285/55/20's on the way. Long story but it was a cool series of events and I wanted to share

Hey Dogzilla....
I have a set of 315/70/17s on my 150 that I just bought. They probably have less than 5 K miles. They just look too big for me. Any suggestions??
Seriously though buddy, don't complain. I guarantee your tires look better on your truck, than mine do.... not that I think mine look all bad... just on the small side.
Peace,
Fish
