**** Cepek Tires.......Beware........
I just got my 305/55/20 **** Cepek Fun Country II tires mounted. They are awesome looking and very heavy, but one of the tires (according to the balance machine) is bad. After several attempts to get it close, the tire was mounted on the right rear, now I went from driving my 04' screw country Cadillac to riding in Apollo 13. I even adjusted the tire pressure and still not better. I called the company to get a replacement, but they are not covered. Basically, once you buy them their yours. My truck was driving great with my wore out Nittos. I've ran big tires all my life, including ground hawgs and buck shot mudders and never had a ride this bad. After getting it stuck in and broke off from Cepek, I read some reviews on the same tires and it appears I'm not the only one. Beware.........

Those tires are covered under manufactuere warranty for out of round within the first 2/32nds. They come with 20 new, so as long as you have 18 or more you can get it covered. Says so on the back of my Cepek standard limited warranty. Here is there website contact info, http://www.****cepek.com/contact.html email them and request a copy of the standard limited warranty info.
I work sales at a tire wholesaler that is nation wide, so dont blame the tires because your retailer is full of ****. If you mailordered it might be harder, but any reputable retailer should handle this for you. If you are mounting yourself and getting a lot of weight, make sure you are match mounting. Meaning highside of the tire (the little dot<< thats that it means) is opposite the valve hole. A lot of the time that helps with the balance.
But go back to your retailer and get your stuff handled and dont let them put you off.
Once your past 2/32nds your screwed for any ride disturbance,

Well, after almost 2 weeks, I finally spoke to a "real" person at DC. I was sent to the warranty dept. and told them my problem. After convincing them it was my tire, they were certain it was my wheel, they called the warehouse where I got them, and had one sent to the tire shop. I should get it tomorrow. Thanks for all your input.
