I've done some searching but haven't found a definate answer...i really like the moto metal 951's but im pre sure they don't make them in a 5x135 pattern and i like the pro comp 6001's but i don't think they have them in black

any other sweet black rims for our body style?? i have a red 98 extended cab and have aluminum eagle alloy 058's to put on it but would really like to get some black rims and go black

btw..i tried searching "black rims on 98 f150" but all i get back are pics of black rims on the new body style, how do i search to return only old body style results?? thanx

also if i do a lift in the future (max lift of pry 6") a 16" wheel should still be fine right?? do i have to worry about backspacing with a lift??

thanx, the only hting i don't like about those rims is the dots around the edge

 

check out the eagle alloy 185's thats what i have on mine and i love them. i have a '98 too

I just bought a set of the Eagle 185's for $200/ea CDN, I had to wait about 4 weeks though and one of my wheels was damaged so I have to wait another 2 weeks for the replacement. Sounds like we have basically the same truck. Wish I could help you out with a pic.

you can always powdercoat or paint some FX4 wheels from an 02 or 03 or even powdercoat your eagle 058's black. if you do that and keep the centers chrome that'd look pretty sharp

 

i've seen your write up on those fx4 wheels and i really dig them...i can't find a set cheap though...cheapest i've found was 400 for the set plus pry another 200 or so to powdercoat them..did they only make them for 02 or 03?? i thought the fx4 came out in 99??

the thought of powdercoating my eagle 058's crossed my mind, the thought left a second later though...i could never bring myself to cover such a beautiful shine
