Tire Choice '05 Lariat Supercab
Well, I've been doing my research on this forum as well as many other sites on the web and have narrowed my new tire choices down to two. I'd love to get more opinions from this forum crowd. My two choices are Bridgestone HL Alenza and General Grabber HTS. I know the Grabber is listed number one on Tirerack and Alenza is fourth in All Season Highway tires. However, that's with only 308,342 miles reported (Grabber) on the survey and this tire only hit the market in Apr '08, while the Alenza has over 8 million miles reported and has been on the market since '04. The best deal I've been able to work out so far is $100 more for the set of Alenza's out the door. My driving is 100% on road and the stock tire size I'm considering is the 265/60/18. I'll be anxious to hear your opinions and recommendations.

I think both choice would serve your needs well. I've had a set of Alenzas and they were great smooth riding tires. As far as the General Grabber HTS they recieve high marks from www.tirerack.com but are a "new" tire and don't have that many miles logged on their rating system which may or may not mean a thing.
If you want a tire that goes through rigid QC and are usually easy to balance, and smooth /Quiet pick either Michelin Cross Terrain or Michelin LTX M/S. Never been dissappointed with either of those. Both the Michelins I mentioned usually have extremely long lifespans too.
