Fitting 38x14.5 with 6in. susp. and 3in. body

Exclamation Fitting 38x14.5 with 6in. susp. and 3in. body

I have an 07 F150 with a 6 inch lift/ 36x13.5 superswampers and I'm currently instaling a 3inch PA body lift and I'm wondering if 38s 14-14.5 will fit without too much rubbing???Please help me out...gotta order em' soon!!!

that tire size should clear the fenders just fine. you may experience some rubbing on the tie rods at full lock, and may have to do some minor trimming elsewhere.

give us your wheel width and backspacing, that may help us to give you better advice.

I would have to check but I have 17in. wheels that seem to be more than 8 less than 10in. wide lol!!!!and no idea of the backspacing(Dumb Noob I am lol!!!)

find out the backspacing on your wheels. look it up on the wheel manufacturer's site, or call them. you will need the wheel specs to figure out exactly how wide you can go before facing issues of irregular wear, excessive rubbing, etc.

458 a tire delivered off treadepot.com for the wrangler trm, not too bad of price, good tires.

Well I wouldn't lie to ya...I'm starting to think about it!!!!!(only thing is...40's are actually illegal around here lol!!!38's are the highest legal tires you can have but the cops are 2 darn dumb around here to notice anyways lol!!!)

I'm actualy quite debating tires right now and I'm gonna go insane!!!!Its a big investment and I wanna be sure of what I buy!!!!If you have any suggestions...let's here em'!!!!(Running 37x13.5 Irok's SS thinking about 40x14.50/15.00x17 Want beefy threads but not a tractor ride though lol!!!)

you don't wanna run that wide of tire on those wheels you got, not wide enough. 13.50 would be the widest i would go on a 8 inch wide wheel

actually my buddy rolled over his f250 last night and hes got 40sx15.5x20 sooo I'm gonna run down to the shop get me some 20 inch rims and I'm all set(Mickey Thompsons MTZ THOUGH..but for 400$...who cares lol!!!)
