I have an 04 FX4 scab with a 2" AS leveling kit. I have a set of 17x8 Pro comp 7005's waiting for some tires.

I have heard on more than one occasion that 35" BFG KM2's actually measure closer to if not at 34".

So what do you all know about these tires?

If they are truly closer to 34" I may just get them. Foresee any issues with this set-up? Thanks

 

actual height is 34.8" 35x12.50-17

 

I know the advertised actual height is 34.8". But I also know the advertised actual height of the 285/70/17 BFG KM2 is 33" when it is actually 32.68". So I am somewhat reluctant to take that 34.8 too seriously when others report theirs being right at 34".

Anyone have a 35" Km2 under their rig outside where they can go get a quick measurement?

 

Wakethor is the only guy i know off hand that is running the 35x12.50-17, send him a message, i'm sure he'll measure 'em for ya

 

I would if I could but I am out of town without my truck. There unloaded diameter is 34.8", so by the time you put the weight of the truck on them they would probably squat to ~34". I've seen others with 35" with just a leveling kit but I believe they rub the control arms at lock, if I remember correctly and some trimming maybe. It will be a couple of months before I could measure my tires for you.
