KMC XD Diesel

Hey everyone... Im looking at getting a set of KMC XD Diesel wheels for my 98 f150. I've found a few sites that sell them in a 17 x 9.

Im just wondering if anyone has purchased these?
And from where?
and if the beadlock ring came with them, or did you have to buy them seperate?

thanks!
Ernie

You may have much better luck getting thee wheels then we can get any KMC wheel for the 6x135. I have the 22x11's and wanted to do a warranty exchange due to wheel pitting. Alot of KMC's wheels have been on back order for a while due to the downfall in the ecconomy. I got mine from a local wheel dealer.

Well there are "Real Beadlocks" and "Simulated Beadlocks." Real beadlocks are used off road so you can run very low tire pressure without less worry about rolling the tire of the wheel. Its basically a clamp that pinches the bead of the tire between two steel plates... heres a pic of how a real beadlock works.

A simulated beadlock gives the look of a real beadlock, but its for aesthetic purposes only.

Im pretty sure they are not street legal, but im not 100% sure. Personally, i don't see why they should not be street legal, i mean i dont see what would make them dangerous or anything, but im not the law haha.
