I have a 1998 f150 XTL 4x4 offroad pkg. I currently have 265/70/17's i believe. The tires are stating to go bad so i need to replace them and just seeing if i can put anything bigger w/o rubbing. I am planning on a 3in body lift in the future but i need tires before the next inspection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

You can fit up to a 315/70-17 (35x12.50) by using your oem wheels. They will rub the frame slightly at full steering lock. When you add the 3 inch body lift, you will be able to fit them using a wider aftermarket wheel.

yeah a 33 will fit fine.

but if you plan on a body lift in the near future id go with the 315x70x17's
