My FX4 is turning into a FX2
#4
Some thought on re-decal/re-embleming the truck. I like to get the FX4 Emblem, place it like the Harley's, put the Emblem at the top of bed near the tail light. Take the F150 emblems off the Fenders and tailgate, get the new 09 F150 Emblem and move it down onto the door (where a Chev 1500 Emblems is located) Have nothing on the tailgate but a black oval Ford version. The rim/tire change was do to I was looking for a better ride, my dad at 70, said get more rubber on that truck. I won't tell him he was right! Thanks for the comments guys. Cheers

The 20" rims has this truck bouncing out of any little pothole, so in order to save this truck in becoming a truck that rattles from headlight to taillight later in years, i decided to move down in rim size. I was looking for raised white littered tires, which fools the eye making the tire look smaller and sportier, but found these used tires locally for now. As for the lowering, i really had no need for the height, not to knock anyone who raises them, i only needed the traction for winter (4X4). About 95% of the time this truck is on the highway, so to help cut down on fuel, (lowered and highway tires). I guess i would be best suited for a all-wheel drive Harley, but found this truck was 1/3 the price! Thanks for the compliment by the way.

Gotta keep them dam Mud Flaps
Oh! wait that actually made a big difference to me. The stickers need to go lol get you some heat and throw it to the sticker! BTW any chance you going to take off the mud flaps or is the salt and grime from all the weather up there call for them to be a must have?

Thats exactly why i have the mud flaps. The rockers take a beating, never mind the stone chips from from to back also. It's the dam winters that do all the damage to our vehicles salt and sand is everywhere for 4 1/2 months. The southern USA vehicles look brand new underneath, i'm so dam jealous!
