08 Harley Wheels, what am I doing wrong

I tried putting on one of my Harley wheels yesterday. I couldn't get the chrome center cap to stay on. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

If you dont have the original chrome exposed harley lugnuts then the original harley caps wont fit. you can buy the caps that come on a fx4 and they will work. I had the same problem.

how much did you get them for?? and if they are the rims with the black stripes then I dont know if the caps are the same as on the 07.

They are the black striped ones. I wondered if the lugs were right. I will have to get the part number for the 08 Harley lugs. Anyone know where I might find it?

I cant remember the part numbers but I know they run 12 dollars each at the dealership. The first time I tried looking for them they were 16 dollars each.
