I REALLY need some advice please

Hey guys hopefully some one here can give me some hands on advice here. Last year I owned a 2006 Screw KR and bought some Boss 313 Rims that came with Falken tires ( the ones in my sig ). Ran them for about 10,000 KM no issues and now am driving a new 2008 Lariat Screw.

Last fall when I went to take them off I had a little wheel wobble and assumed they were out of balance, I use it for hunting allot on country gravel rough roads so just figured I needed a balance. I took them to the big local guys that does nothing but rims and tires and he has balanced them 3 times now, on the machine they come up as balanced and 0, BUT the minute I hit 60mph and over there it such a shim in the steering wheel you cannot even drive it.

I got fed up with that shop and went back to the shop I bough them at last year and they to reblanced everything but when you get to 60 the bad steering wheel shake comes back. Now the original shop did notice one tire had some feathering on the inside of the tire but claims driving should smooth it back out again.

Being that I have had 2 shops try balancing 4 times now could it be that I have a bad tire and it only shows when I hit 60 or more and not with the speed of the balancer ? Could that feathered tire be the issue ? This is getting frustrating to the point I might just leave them in the shed which is stupid. I know some people talk about road force balancing machines but there are just none around here.

I had the shop order me 1 new tire and was going to have them just rotate it out on all 4 until we find the bad one but I would appreciate any help as both shops were not too keen on spending much time on the issue being snow tire change over month is here now and they make way more money turning and burning those jobs.

Well I am no tire guru by any means, but have tried getting them road forced balanced? That might do the trick. But with feathering on the tire you will probably still feel it, I would imagine.

I'm willing to bet it's the tires. They may not be perfectly round. I can't remember who it was, but there was a member on here who got a brand new Superduty and had the same issue. After countless balancing attempts, I believe he got new tires from the dealership. I would take it to the dealership ASAP before the tire warranty expires. I think it's 12k miles or something. Good luck.
